What it’s actually like
A 350-key Hilton beside the existing Hampton, announced for Q4 2026
Hilton Marjan Island Beach Resort & Spa is a full-service Hilton signed with the developer M Hospitality, and it will sit next to the Hampton by Hilton Marjan Island that already trades on the island. It is the more detailed of the island’s pipeline announcements, with a room split, a dining count and specific facilities all published.
This is not a review. The resort has not opened, nobody has stayed there, and you cannot book it. Below is what Hilton and M Hospitality have announced, and what has not been settled.
Opening date
The announced opening is Q4 2026. That is firmer than most dates on this island because it names a quarter rather than a bare year, and because it came from Hilton’s own signing announcement rather than from a secondary report.
It is still an announced date rather than a confirmed one. There is no public record of it having been revised, but it has also not been narrowed to a month, and the property is not yet loaded into Hilton’s reservation system. A hotel opening in the final quarter of a year would normally be taking bookings some months ahead, so the absence of a live booking page this late is the detail worth watching.

Where it sits on Al Marjan Island
This is one of the few pipeline projects whose position you can actually place, because it is being built beside a hotel that already exists. It sits adjacent to the Hampton by Hilton Marjan Island, which puts it on the established part of the island rather than out on the newer plots.
That matters practically: this stretch already has working roads, beach access and neighbouring resorts, which is not true everywhere on the development. For the wider layout see the Al Marjan Island area guide.
What is being built
The announced specification is unusually concrete. There are 350 keys split as 315 rooms and 35 suites, six restaurants and bars, a spa, a ballroom accommodating 300, and a 360-degree sky pool — the last of which is the feature Hilton has led with in its own material.
A ballroom for 300 puts this in the small-conference and wedding market as well as the leisure one, which distinguishes it from several neighbours. Beyond those items, nothing further has been published, and the sky pool has not been described in terms of its level, size or whether it is open to non-residents.
Who it looks right for
The announced shape points at three groups: leisure guests wanting a full-service Hilton on the beach, Hilton Honors members who currently have only the Hampton and the DoubleTree to choose from on the island, and small events — a 300-capacity ballroom is a wedding and mid-size conference room.
With 35 suites out of 350 keys, the room mix is weighted to standard inventory rather than to suites, which suggests volume pricing rather than a boutique proposition.
What is still unconfirmed
- The opening month within Q4 2026, and whether that quarter still holds.
- When bookings open and at what rates. Nothing is loaded into Hilton’s system.
- The six restaurants and bars by name or concept.
- Spa size and treatment list.
- Sky pool detail — level, size and access rules.
- Beach frontage, kids’ club and watersports provision.
- Whether facilities will be shared with the neighbouring Hampton.
Where to stay on Al Marjan Island in the meantime
If you want a Hilton-family property on the island today, the DoubleTree by Hilton Resort & Spa Marjan Island is the full-service option and the Hampton by Hilton Marjan Island next door is the budget one. Outside the group, Rixos Bab Al Bahr and Mövenpick Resort Al Marjan Island are the established alternatives.

FAQ
When does the Hilton Marjan Island open?
Hilton has announced the fourth quarter of 2026. No month has been confirmed and the hotel is not yet bookable. A quarter-level date from the operator is reasonably firm by the standards of this island, but it is still an intention rather than a commitment.
How is it different from the DoubleTree already there?
It carries the core Hilton brand, which sits above DoubleTree in the group’s hierarchy, and it has been announced with 350 keys, six dining venues, a 300-capacity ballroom and a 360-degree sky pool. How the two compare in practice cannot be judged until it opens.
Can I hold a wedding there?
A ballroom for 300 has been announced, so the capacity is planned. No events team, pricing or enquiry process exists yet, and no date can be held. If you are planning a 2027 wedding, work with an open venue and treat this as a possible later option.
Bottom line
One of the better-documented projects in the pipeline, with a quarter-level date, a published room split and named facilities. It also has the advantage of being built on an already-functioning stretch of the island. The gap to watch is the missing booking page: a Q4 2026 opening should be selling by now.
How this page was prepared and when it was last checked
Compiled from developer and operator announcements and named trade press, not from a stay. Opening dates in the UAE move often, and quarter-level guidance frequently slides by one quarter without any formal statement. Last checked September 2026.
